Stress management strategies for dealing with distance adoption from Covid-19 to the war in Ukraine

The diploma thesis focuses on the stress management strategy issue while dealing with child sponsorship from Covid-19 until the war in Ukraine. The work goal is to describe and analyse the effects of the pandemic Covid-19 and the war in Ukraine for child sponsorship and to find out the stress management strategy of the Centrum Narovinu staff while dealing with the child sponsorship. The theoretical part defines the stress and stress relief strategy (coping) concept; child sponsorship with a specific supported country description - Kenya. It also defines the term of Covid-19 and the war in Ukraine with its impact on the Czech Republic and Kenya. The practical part deals with qualitative research with respondents which has interviews form. The diploma thesis focuses on respondents' sample who work in the Centrum Narovinu, i.e., in an organization dealing with child sponsorship. The result of the research gives an interpretation of the child sponsorship impact and stress management strategies of the Centrum Narovinu staff from Covid-19 until the war in Ukraine. The collected data can help to support developing countries and boost stress management abilities among workers who help in these countries. The analysis of the functioning of child sponsorship at the example of czech experience with child support organisations

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the functioning of child sponsorship at the example of Czech experience. It is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the definition, history and functions of child sponsorship as well as some of its problems that also affect Czech child support organisations. I specifically focused on the description of the organisations and exact numbers of adopted children, collected from the employees at the organisations and annual reports. The second part is initially focused on the research methodology and after that dedicated to the results of the survey, which were obtained through interviews with adoptive parents. The aim of the empirical part of the thesis is to determine the relationship and functioning of child sponsorship on the basis of direct testimonies from adoptive parents.

Options adoption in the Czech Republic and child adaptation to society

Bachelor thesis is focused on the possibility of adoption in the Czech Republic and the child's integration into the new family and society. Theoretical bases closer to mastering the development from a historical perspective, kinds of adoption in the Czech Republic and the conditions for successful adoptions. The author introduces the reader to the actual course of the adoption process, described in various stages of the request for mediation to establish contact with the child. Thesis introduces the reader in foster care together with creation, types and financial aspects. Attention is focused on the amendment that gave priority to family care over institutional.
The practical part evaluates the amendment, which occurred in the area of adoption 1. 1. 2014. It also describes the early days of the adopted child in the new family. It acquaints readers with the problems that foster parents frequently addressed in the child's adaptation to society.
Target of this thesis is to evaluate the amendments that have occurred in the area of adoption 1. 1. 2014. Based on the responses to assess whether the amendments were a step in mastering good or bad. Any proposing other changes that would streamline the process of adoption. Analyze the process of integrating the child into society. Specify on what grounds can a child develop a sense of deprivation and negative behaviors that cause complex adaptation to the collective.

Charity of elementary schools

This diploma work deals with the issue of charity at elementary schools. At the beginning of the writing there are briefly defined basic terms and kinds of charity. Other chapters concern with the development of charity in Czech countries and particular motives that instigate somebody to do charity. In other parts of the writing there is the charity in the school context. First there are characterized the non-profit institutions dealing with the charity at elementary schools and their specific activities and there are also analysed school documents, school textbooks and other school materials, that are used in the teaching process at the lower secondary schools. The second part of the writing deals with a case study where the results of the research are presented. In this research there are analysed two elementary schools in more details. The aim of the research is to find out: if the charity activities are established in school´s curricular documents, what charitable activities the schools do, if the charity is taught in civics classes etc.
